"A Song Unheard" by Roseanna M. White is the second book in the Shadows Over England series which takes place just before World War I. Our main characters are Willa a prodigy violinist and thief that must steal from Lukas De Wilde. This book was interesting in the aspect of the historical time frame as the author is very good at combining history with a story. Now to the story itself usually I really enjoy this author's writing but not this one. The story really dragged on to the point I almost did not finish the book. The characters themselves were not that interesting even though the background to the story was. It just wasn't for me. Not the author's best but I will still keeping reading her works. Maybe it was just me so try it for yourself.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Bethany House. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
